How a tournament works

1. Pick a tournament: free (practice, no prizes) or paid (with a prize pool). 2. Build your team: in football, 11 players within a 100-point budget, with no more than 6 players from the same club. In basketball, 8 players (max 4 per club); in American football, 10 players (max 5 per club). 3. Name a captain and a vice-captain. 4. Submit: for a paid tournament, the entry fee is taken at that moment. You can still edit your team until entries close, 5 minutes before the first kick-off. 5. Follow it live: the leaderboard refreshes every 30 seconds. 6. Results: after the last match, the statistics are checked ("Results validation"), then winnings are credited to your balance. Captain, vice-captain and scoring

Your players score points from their real statistics during the match: goals, assists, shots on target, tackles, saves… Some actions cost points (cards, fouls, missed penalty). - Your captain's points are doubled (×2). - Your vice-captain's are multiplied by 1.5. Football examples: a goal is worth 10 points for a forward, 12.5 for a midfielder, 15 for a defender and 20 for a goalkeeper. An assist is worth 7 points. A player who doesn't play scores nothing: check the official line-ups, usually published 20 to 45 minutes before kick-off. See the full scoring system

Cancelled tournament, ties, guaranteed tournament

Under-filled tournament: every tournament has a minimum number of entrants. If it isn't reached when entries close, the tournament is cancelled and everyone is fully refunded. Ties: tied teams share the prizes of the places they occupy. Guaranteed tournament: the advertised prize pool is paid even if the tournament isn't full. Postponed or cancelled match: its players don't score points. Statistics are always checked before winnings are paid.
